Seneca Creek State Park

If you’re thinking of a location immersed in nature for your photography photoshoot, Seneca Creek State Park is a great location. Located in Gaithersburg, MD, the park is comprised of 6,300 acres extended along 14 mile of Seneca Creek, as it winds its way down to the Potomac River. The park is also home to the 90-acre Clopper Lake. The day use area has gorgeous scenery and backdrops, including forest, fields and over 50 miles of trails. 

Hours: 

8 a.m. to Sunset, March-October

10 a.m. to Sunset, November-February

Entry Fees:

Weekends and Holidays, April-October: $3 a person for Maryland residents

$5 a person for Out-of-State residents
