Meet Linda

Maryland Family Photographer

Hi! I’m Linda, the owner and photographer at Little Snaps Photography. I’m a wife, a mother and nature lover. Becoming a mom has inspired me in more ways than I ever thought possible. My son is the inspiration behind everything I do.

As a Maryland family photographer, my goal is to work with families to capture authentic family portraits that capture the true essence of your family. I do this especially with the designated family photographer in mind, which is usually mom.

My goal is to document emotions, details and memories that in the future will make you laugh, cry or both. I want to help families preserve their family legacy.

“We are over the moon about our family photography experience with Linda. After years of avoiding professional portraits because we didn't like overly posed styles, we realized we didn't actually have many photos of all of us together, so went looking for help. Her ability to capture natural family dynamics is met by her eye for light, color, and composition- the result is absolutely gorgeous, glowing, natural photographs that feel true to the subjects. We are so grateful to Linda for her work and her care- her warmth and humor put us at ease, and her thoughtful approach to customer service ensured we ended up with a custom photography package we adore. We now plan to come back every year- thank you so much, Linda!!” - A.H.

Family Photography is a great way to document a family’s life story. When to plan your maternity photoshoot?

Maternity photography is a beautiful way to document this special moment in time for a family. A common question for an expecting mother is, when should I get my maternity photographs taken? In general, you should schedule your maternity session early in your third trimester, between 30 and 36 weeks. At that time your belly should be nice and round, and “pop” in your photos. This is also before the baby moves downward; you should be able to move around a bit easier and still comfortable for the session. Read More

How to prepare for your in-home newborn photography session?

An in-home newborn photography session is a great way to capture all the different elements of your newborn’s first few weeks (or months) of life. When I first arrive at a family’s home, I walk around the house to find the best light for the session. I’ll open curtains and blinds to let the light in to find the best lit areas of your home. In most cases, the best light is either in the nursery, living or bedroom. The baby determines the flow of the session. Read More

Why Photo Albums Are Important

Photo albums preserve those special moments and memories, not only for you, but for your children and future generations to come. Here are three reasons why photo albums are so important. (1) A photo album brings your images to life. You did your research, found a photographer you love, booked a session and got your family together for a session. You love your images and you smile every time you look at them. But why leave those images buried on your computer? A photo album is a great way to bring your images to life. Read More
