Rockville Maryland Family Session

I’m so happy to finally be able to share this Maryland family photography session! After almost three months of self-isolation and social distancing, photographers are now allowed to re-start outdoor photography sessions. The health and safety of my families are my top priority as I re-start providing photography services. Due to COVID-19, I have put the following precautions in place for all my photography sessions:

1. Outdoor Sessions Only

Until further notice, all sessions (maternity, newborn, motherhood and family) will be held outdoors in the fresh air to minimize contact. Session participants will only include immediate family members and/or members of the same household.

2. Social Distance

I will be using a long lens for all my sessions to maintain a safe distance while still capturing images that make it seem like we are closer.

3. Disinfecting while outdoors

I will arrive at each session with wet wipes and hand sanitizer and will use those throughout the session. I will also wear a mask during the session.

4. No Contact Policy

I will avoid any personal contact with session participants during sessions. This includes hand-shaking, hugging,  moving/touching hair or clothes will shooting. All direction will be provided from a safe distance.

5. Sick Policy

All session participants  are required to disclose and reschedule the session if any member of their immediate family is sick or have had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose, or vomiting in the last 24 hours.

With safety in mind, we were able to have a fun family session. I met this family at the end of their stay in the Washington, D.C. area. After a two year sabbatical, it was time to finally go home. This family wanted a way to commemorate the time they had spent here, so they decided to have a lifestyle family photography session.  I was honored that they chose me to document this page in their history. We had a great time making some final memories. We topped it off with lots of laughing and dancing. It was so heart warming to share an afternoon with such a loving and beautiful family.

Family photography is an investment in your family. It is a privilege when a family trusts me with documenting their memories. It’s something I don’t take lightly, especially after the crisis that we are facing. It’s been a reminder about what is truly important in this word, and that is our loved ones.
