As a Maryland Newborn Photographer, one of my favorite things is working with a family over time. Whether it’s a newborn session to welcome a new baby to the family, or a maternity session to document the journey before baby’s arrival; documenting life’s special milestones is always such a treat. That’s why I was thrilled to hear from this mama who was welcoming baby number three. We had worked together when she welcomed her first baby.
During that session, we had a great time documenting the story of first time parents. I met their first baby girl when she was just four days old! You can see some highlights from that session by reading “Almost a Fresh 48.” This time around the session was a little different, but in a way, also the same.
With baby number three, it wasn’t a story of first time parents, but one of a growing family. At this stage of the motherhood journey, mama was celebrating bringing her third child into this world. Dad was also celebrating becoming a father again and was so excited to welcome another baby girl into the world. And this time he’s an experienced dad and handled a quick diaper change mid session like a pro.
The little baby I once met as a four day old was now an energetic little girl. This was also her second time around at becoming a big sister, since her first baby brother had arrived a few years earlier.
There were a lot of things with this session that were different but, there was still some things that were the same. The biggest one of them all, was the love the family shared. Baby number three, a beautiful baby girl, has arrived into wonderful and loving family. Throughout the session you could feel the love in the air.
We captured sweet moments with her siblings and her parents; the entire time you could feel the love in the air. It was such a treat to welcome another little one into the world, a baby that is truly loved by all that surround her.
